Bored, making a gun controller.

I'm bored and I keep thinking about making this. I have my extra controller that I take apart all the time. Only one problem is that I only have real guns = heavy = not good for gaming. So I guess I need to go get an airsoft gun from my dads and "TRY" to make this.

Good idea or no?



Probably won't even get close to making it. Still, I want a damn gun controller for xbox >_>

July 4th) Stripped the controller and took of the analog sticks, made sure push buttons worked for a/b/y/x. It worked so tomorrow I will begin to add wires to the analog sticks and make the controller.

July 6thSoldered a random push button on and wired up the left stick to make sure it works. It does, This weekend I'll probably go out and get an airsoft gun and attach it all.I'd make a video but I'll do that once it's finished >_> IT WILL HAPPEN!


July 21stHalf way done =/ The magazine wasn't as big as I was hoping so that screwed me over pretty good. Got it put together and then the trigger stopped working too so I have to figure that one out. Anyway, photos taken with my webcam becuase I'm to tired to go find my real cam.

Only a few things to fix (stupid trigger) and some finishing touches left. Not going as well as I wanted, but it is going.
